The 2019 SKL + SCR Basketball and Broadcast Camp at Percy L. Julian High School
Who we are
Our mission is to provide Chicago’s youth with a safe place to play and learn. Founded by ESPN sports broadcaster and former professional basketball player Brooke Weisbrod, we are a collective group of former athletes, artists, entrepreneurs, and go-getters who love to share knowledge and live to serve our neighborhoods in Chicago. Sports and arts took us around the world.
Our passion
Nothing gets us more excited than seeing a child gain confidence through hard work and attention to detail. We love fundamentals, and the way we do it SKL + SCR style campers have no choice but to have fun while taking advantage of the opportunity to get better. Through music, repetition, and good energy we create discipline and form good habits.

That message greeted me every day I walked into practice at Coastal Carolina University; where I played basketball, softball, and tennis. Making it a mindset changed my life forever, on the court and in the game of life. Teaching that mindset is why I created SKL + SCR.
